Food and beverages are a wonderful gift and a shared passion of our family. We seek to apply the following philosophies as we enjoy them:
- Eat Food. Mostly Plants. Not Too Much [1]
- Food should be anticipated, enjoyed, and appreciated
- Eating is an event, not an item on a checklist (we take this most seriously at dinner)
- Food should not be used as an incentive, for pacification or comfort
- Cuisine holds centuries of history — it has been developed and refined over many generations
- Cuisine is a window into culture (e.g., fish head curry in Singapore, fried artichoke stems in Rome)
